Catherine, a serial entrepreneur, is passionate about people and skills development having previously founded and successfully exited an IT training business. At Answer she is responsible for the innovative knowledge practices and client development. Catherine has also launched an IT Leadership Group with senior business executives with the aim of generating IT skills development opportunities for young people in the Yorkshire region.
Previously Gary was UK sales manager for a division of a large US-based Computer Systems Company where he recognised the opportunity existed for a more open, collaborative and empowering form of services engagement. Gary is responsible for financial and operational management.
Catherine had also identified that many clients were feeling disenfranchised when working with consultants and third parties as the old adage of knowledge is power was very prominent. When 2 minds came together, Gary and Catherine built a unique proposition bringing a true partnership model to a very receptive marketplace.
Both Catherine and Gary are responsible for business strategy planning and both remain closely involved with Answer clients and attribute the many long standing relationships as testimony to Answer’s unique brand of people centred client engagement practices.
Derek believes that the great thing about working with these guys is their ability to then make it happen – and quickly. There’s not a lot that’s fundamentally new in Finance – competitive advantage is all about getting the right combination of products and services in front of the right customers at the right time. So Answer created ReMix to enable Banks and Building societies to apply their creativity in real time without the need to constantly call on IT for systems changes. Being part of that and seeing the enthusiasm it generates in our clients gives Derek a real buzz.
